Weekly, NLBC is hosting fun evenings of ballroom dancing on the lower level of the West Fargo VFW. A $5 entrance fee includes lessons, assisted practice AND pizza at 9 PM. Please bring your dancing feet and join the fun!
DANCE OF THE MONTH
Dance Lessons will be in a new format this year. A different dance will be featured each month.
Beginning CHA CHA will be taught in January. On Wednesday, January 4th,. Basic in Place, Side Basic, Progressive Basic and Outside Partner were featured.
On Wednesday, January 11th, the Crossover Break and Cross Body Lead will be presented.
NO DANCE EVENT ON WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 18TH.
The Open Break Underarm Turn and Chase Turn will be presented on the January 25th.
Steps will be presented in the format designed by Donald Johnson & Kasia Kozak for Dance Vision's "Anyone can Dance" DVDs for beginners. This format provides beginners the opportunity to order the DVD from Dance Vision. This enables dancers to practice on their own as they progress through the program. The DVDs retail for $24.99 and feature 8 steps.
